Online Information Technology (IT) Degrees

Technology has transformed the way we do business and the way we live our lives. At Kaplan University, our online information technology degrees and certificate programs are designed to help you maximize your talent to pursue career opportunities in competitive IT-related fields.*

Whether you focus on Web development, information technology, wireless networking, or another area that interests you, our comprehensive online IT programs could help you to pursue your educational and career goals. Many of our faculty members are experienced professionals in their fields who help ensure that the education you receive is engaging, practical, and focused on the skills relevant to the IT industry.

You can now enroll in one of two tracks of study within the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. The applied technology track focuses on how to use and manage various information systems and technologies to best serve the needs of employees, customers, and organizations. The information systems track is a more rigorous course of study that requires three advanced math courses in statistics, linear algebra, and discrete mathematics, and focuses on information systems architecture from a broad systems perspective.

To help further specialize your bachelor’s or associate’s degree, Kaplan University has developed career focus areas—groupings of courses designed to prepare you with specialized knowledge and skills in specific fields.
