A degree designed to help you help others.

Helping others is your calling. Answer it by pursuing a bachelor's degree in human services from Kaplan University.

Our online human services bachelor's degree program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a rewarding career in a wide variety of helping professions. Students are taught to assess client's needs, identify community resources, and problem solve and advocate for their client—all with the goal of making a difference in the lives of those unable to help themselves. Bachelor's degree students also study how to provide interventions and develop intervention strategies that guide this population to success.

Kaplan University is a member of the Council for Standards in Human Services Education (CSHSE), and our bachelor's degree program follows the Council's curriculum guidelines. In addition, graduates of the bachelor's degree in human services will be eligible to sit for the National Organization of Human Services (NOHS) exam to become a Board Certified Human Services Professional after completing the required work experience as outlined by the NOHS and the CSHSE.*
